The life and ministry of Jesus Christ
After Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist, Jesus was immediately attacked by Satan. The battle between good and evil started again.
  1. Satan’s attacks. Do you remember the first attack of Satan (Genesis 3)? What was that attack about?
  2. Describe Satan’s attack in Mark 1:12-13 and Matthew 4:1-11. How did Jesus respond? Who protected Jesus (Mark 1:13)?
  3. Disciples involved in speading the good news. Jesus chose 12 disciples to spread the good news of the Gospel. What were these disciples trained for at the beginning of Jesus ministry (Matthew 4:19) and at the end of Jesus ministry (Matthew 28:19)? What would the disciples receive after Jesus returned to Heaven three years later, to continue their work on earth (Acts 1:8)?
  4. Jesus had authority from God, compassion with people, and power to heal and to perform miracles. Even to forgive sins. He casted out demons (Luke 4:33-40). Describe what happend to the demon-posessed and what happened to the demons?
  5. Jesus healed the sick. What happened to the woman in verse 38-40?
  6. Jesus raised the dead (Luke 7:11-15). Describe this event.
  7. Jesus fed the hungry (Luke 9:12-17). Describe this event.
  8. Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6)”
