We plan to arrange a bike ride to Heteren, visit a historical brick factory, Dutch industrial heritage, have a short train ride, see steam locomotives at work, and bike back to Wageningen. All together a 4-hour afternoon.
Details
The bike ride is about half-an-hour from Churchillweg 16 Wageningen to the museum location in Heteren, see https://smalspoor.nl. Departure 13:00. Ferry Lexkesveer (€ 1,50 per trip for bike) across the Rhine River. Admission at museum € 7,50 per person including video and guided tour. We'll be back in Wageningen by 17:00.
