Each week you’ll be exploring a few chapters of Mark. By the end of Session 6, you’ll have read the whole of Mark’s Gospel. Use the following questions to help you explore the passage. There’s room at the end to write down any questions you’d like
to discuss next time.
Difficult words:
Disciples: Those called to follow Jesus, learn from him and be witnesses of his ministry.
Sabbath: The Jewish day set aside for rest and enjoyment of God.
Sins: Rebellion against God. Failure to think, say and do what we should.
Blaspheming: Misrepresenting God, or treating his name and character carelessly.
Son of Man: This title comes from the Old Testament book of Daniel, where the Son of Man came from heaven and was given eternal rule over the whole world. Jesus often used this title
for himself
