1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship. 2Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. What should we do
Break with the past
- ‘Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world’ (verse 2)
- ‘Do not let the world around you squeeze you into its mould’ (verse 2)
Make a new start
- ‘Let God transform you inwardly by a complete change’ (verse 2)
God has treasures in store for us
- Sincere love (verse 9)
- Enthusiasm in your relationship with God (verse 11)
