What does the Holy Spirit do
Jesus said this about being born-again in John 3:5-6 5Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
A born-again believer is then also born into the worldwide family of believers.
Question 1
If you are born of the spirit: Congratulations! If not yet, what can you do to get there?
Sons and daughters of God
After our conversion we are adopted sons and daughters of God, as Romans 8:14-17 says 14For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father” 16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Question 2
