Ed and Margreet van Ouwerkerk are Dutch citizens. In 2002 they moved to the United States where Ed got a position as Research Associate at Iowa State University. While spending much time with international students they received the divine call to focus on full time ministry. In 2007 they were accepted as Ministry Representatives with the American mission agency International Students Inc (ISI). In 2010 they became full time staff with ISI evangelizing among Chinese graduate students. In 2014 they returned to the Netherlands and started a ministry among Chinese students on Wageningen University campus. A ministry team was formed and an official foundation was established, Chinese Student Ministries Netherlands. Every Friday evening they host a fellowship in their home for Chinese students: food, friendships, fellowship, singing, Bible study and discussion. Both seekers and believers are welcome. The main language is English and some of the team members speak Chinese. Since the coronacrisis the fellowship evenings are held online, using Zoom. Besides in Wageningen, there are CSMN fellowships in Eindhoven and Rotterdam. We are members of ICF Wageningen, an interdenominational international church, where we gladly serve the Lord and His body of believers.
